Part Time Farm Hand

- Assist with maintaining fenceline.
- Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools for various farming tasks.
- Perform manual labor as required.
- Periodically operate some heavy equipment for tasks such as moving tree limbs.
- Water and monitor livestock when needed.
- Assist with the maintenance of cattle.
- Monitor animal health and identify pests or diseases.
- Assist with the packaging and distribution of harvested crops.
Experience:
- Previous experience working on a farm or in a similar agricultural setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor when needed.
- Knowledge of basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities.
We are looking for a dedicated Farm Hand to assist with a few tasks around our farm.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for farming, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
This position is only a few hours each week, mainly on Saturday.
Depending on the season there may be some evening work during the week but most tasks will be performed on Saturdays.
We will work together to determine what needs to be done ahead of time and which Saturdays you will need to come and assist.
Some weeks there may not be a need.
This is a small role and great for someone who is just looking for a few hours working outdoors.
